Basic Requirements
  • Must be twenty-one (21) to sixty-four (64) years of age upon swear-in
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to work at least eight (8) hours a month
  • Must live within sixty (60) minutes of Pottawattamie County
  • Must pass interviews, background checks, and a physical fitness exam
  • Criminal history and driving record may be considered
  • History of drug use or abuse may be considered
